Our Pastor

Our pastor is Randy Rich. Randy attended the Birmingham, Alabama public school system graduating from Woodlawn High School in 1976. He attended Samford University where he received the Bachelor of Arts in 1980 majoring in Religion and Human Relations. He is a graduate of two seminaries earning the Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1983 and the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministries from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in 1988. He was also the second A.H. Newman Fellow in Baptist Studies at Mercer University's Center for Baptist Studies in 2003. A pastor since 1982, he strives to provide honest and candid Bible preaching, open and accessible pastoral ministry, and service in the community.

He married his seminary sweetheart, Melinda in 1983. Melinda is a native of Liberty, MS. The Riches have two grown children: Emily is Choral Music Director at Olde Towne Middle School in Ridgeland, MS and Abby is a Freshman at Mississippi College. Melinda, Emily, and Abby are invested in providing music and worship leadership in our church.
